New Management at Sandford Surgery

News at Sandford Surgery

We have an exciting announcement to make about the management at Sandford Surgery that will be taking effect shortly.

We firstly wish to assure all patients that the surgery will not be closing and confirm that the same service will be continuing with the existing staff as usual, at the same premises, going forward.

So, you may wonder what this means to you?

Behind the scenes at Sandford things will change a little, as we are bringing in the resources and leadership from a company called eHarley Street who will be taking over the contract we have to provide our services at Sandford.  They already successfully manage a number of surgeries along the south coast and focus on providing support to practices who wish to continue to provide a quality patient service into the future.

This change in management will help us through the challenges of running an NHS service so we can focus on patient care, and we are looking forward to new opportunities this will bring over the coming months and years.  With this support, we can network with local initiatives in Purbeck better and integrate with other local surgeries, potentially providing services that are more tailored to our local needs.  We can link up with other agencies and gain more understanding of needs around us and be part of decision making in the area, remaining a member of the Purbeck Primary Care Network.

We are offering a Question Time Coffee Session at our Surgery in Sandford on Tuesday the 13th of February between 11am -1pm where we are inviting patients to come and visit, providing them an opportunity to ask questions and talk to us.  You can also contact Jan, chair of the Patients Participation Group, at [email protected] or via reception.

We are a small surgery and a great team who value our patients and we are looking forward to this new opportunity that we hope will benefit us all.
